An admitted choir geek throughout his childhood, Ross decided to further his musical pursuits while he studied broadcast journalism at New York University by aggressively exploring the inner-workings of the record industry. Ross landed internships at such coveted labels as Atlantic and Columbia Records where he acquired an appreciation for the business behind the art. While he considers his encounter with the remaining members of Led Zeppelin the pinnacle of his experience, he walked away from it all equipped with an armory of knowledge that would allow him to manage bands and eventually focus on his own artistic career.
